Gates housing for ARRI Alexa XT and Alexa LF camera systems

Gates housings have an enviable reputation for being tough and reliable and our Arri Alexa XT and Alexa LF housing is no exception. We have used this housing personally in all environments from warm water studio shoots to under the ice productions, it really is one of the best housings available for the entire Red range of cameras.
The housing can be set up manually for the operator to control using either PL or EF lenses, alternatively we can configure the housing to studio applications and supply 1-3 axis LCS support including picture to surface and remote control if required.
The housing has superior imaging qualities courtesy of the Gates large glass dome and flat port options that come with the package.
Pretty much any lens up to a maximum diameter of 120mm can be fitted into the housing, and if you’re shooting anamorphic then we can support that for you too.
The housing kit can be fitted with the standard 8” glass dome or flat port, 12” glass dome port, or the super sized 18” dome port for split shots on the surface.
The camera housing can also be fitted with a 3/8” threaded base plate to allow various underwater grip to be attached, including a float system for shooting on or just under the surface

The housing is more complicated to build than our DSLR housings so we always recommend one of our technicians or operators accompany the equipment to ensure it’s working perfectly for your shoot.
