Nauticam underwater housing for ARRI Alexa Mini LF camera

The ARRI Alexa Mini and new Mini LF have proven to be our most popular underwater ‘go to’ rig since it’s inception in mid 2016. The housing can be used manually by the operator who has control over focus, iris and zoom and internal ND filters via the preset buttons which suits open water shooting.
The housing is equally at home in studio and controlled sets and can be controlled remotely via the WCU4 lens control system which also allows access to camera functions.
The housing kit can be fitted with the standard 8” glass dome or flat port, 12” glass dome port, or the super sized 18” dome port for split shots on the surface.
The camera housing can also be fitted with a 3/8” threaded base plate to allow various underwater grip to be attached, including a float system for shooting on or just under the surface
This is not a housing easily set up by inexperienced operators, we always recommend one of our techs comes along to help support your filming needs, but there are some online set up videos below to help you if this isn’t possible.
Lens support is for manual PL mounted glass but electronic lenses can be operated by assigning aperture to one of the function buttons accessed through the housing, this really is a superb piece of kit
