Nauticam underwater housing for the Panasonic S1H camera
The Panasonic S1H camera is a brand new full frame camera system shooting 6k video, it has only just been released in September 2019 and is a bold step for Panasonic as they look to compete with Sony Alpha camera systems.
Our Nauticam underwater housings come complete with the superb Nauticam leak check system and are available with the 230mm glass dome port options and a 220mm acrylic option if required, there is also a flat port system available too for macro and anamorphic work.
Our camera housings can be used with or without the external monitor housing as shown in the image bottom left, however we recommend that the monitor be used when filming underwater but not for stills photography.
Lens support is achieved through a combination of specially designed gears that fit onto your lens giving manual control through the housing. If you want to hire one of our lenses with the gears pre-fitted please specify this in the form below, alternatively send us an email with your requirements to email@example.com
|Buoyancy||Slightly negative in salt water|
Please see the video below on how to prepare this housing for use underwater, we will send you the password once the hire has been agreed and the equipment booked out to you.
The video above covers the whole build from start to finish including how to leak check the housing and fit an external monitor if you’re using one, it’s a 20 minute long film which will help you build and prepare the equipment for filming with. Please also click here to see a dedicated tutorial for pressure testing the housing before use, very important folks!
On the same page you can see a video of how to fit the lens gears to control focus and zoom through the housing. If you are renting lenses through us then the manual control gears will already be fitted to the lens for you.
